While in the Tysons Corner area earlier today, my brother (http://imranz.posterous.com/) and I stopped by at Plaka Grill. We had heard a lot about the place and I must say that it lived up to its hype. Plaka Grill offers a delicious variety of Greek cuisine. While there, I ordered their Chicago Gyro (Plaka style) along with a side of fries. I must say that the meats (beef and lamb) were cooked to perfection and the fries were well seasoned. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great, as was the service. So if you are ever in the area and have a craving for a decent gyro, be sure to pay them a visit.  In the mean time enjoy some pictures of my mouth watering meal. BTW link below.

This past Friday July 31, 2009 I made it up to Ahson and Sadaf's wedding! They had an elegant reception in the Tysons Corner Area where family and friends gathered to celebrate the joyous occasion and the beginning of a new chapter in their life. They had a great live band that performed traditional Afghan music, that resonated through out the hall, and a lot dancing. I had a blast! and ran into some familiar faces and met some new ones.
